SANTA FE


Santa Fe is a largely agricultural community with a nascent tourism, located in the north of the province of Veraguas. The Santa Fe district is divided into seven townships: Santa Fe (header), Calovébora, El Alto, El Cuaya, El Pantano, Gatuncito and Rio Luis.

It is surrounded by beautiful mountain scenery (Cerro Tute, Cerro Negro and others) and its neiborghs are bathed by the Santa Maria River and its tributaries.

In Santa Fe enjoys a pleasant climate, with temperatures of 16 degrees Celsius, beautiful scenery and the ease of obtaining fruits and a great diversity of vegetables at reasonable prices and very fresh.

GETTING THERE:
Santa Fe de Veraguas is 57 kilometers from Santiago and is reached by taking Polidoro Finch Avenue (the bridge crosses over the Panamerican Highway) towards San Francisco, taking about an hour by car. There is also a bus route begins to travel from Santiago to Santa Fe from 5:00 am until 7:00 p.m.
