Veraguas is the only province in Panama with coasts on the Pacific and Atlantic (Caribbean) Oceans.




This wonderful province also offers spectacular mountainous landscape because it is here where the Cordillera Central (Central Mountain Range) rises even higher towards its peak that in the province of Chiriqui.

Veraguas has almost 60 kms of coastal area on the Caribbean Sea and over 350 kms of coast on the Pacific Ocean. The last without counting the numerous islands.




This is also the land of the invincible Urraca, the indian chief that was a nightmare for the spanish conquerors, during the colonial times.
